⚠️ WHEN IT COMES TO LASER/IPL HAIR REMOVAL, CHEAPE

⚠️ WHEN IT COMES TO LASER/IPL HAIR REMOVAL, CHEAPER ISN’T ALWAYS BETTER ⚠️
This is an awareness post for IPL and Laser

Recently, I have had clients come into our clinic extremely distressed after suffering burns during hair-removal treatments at large franchise clinics.

What has been especially upsetting is hearing that their concerns were not addressed. This one in particular,
communication stopped and the client was refused a refund for her remaining sessions even though she understandably could not continue treatment.

Burns from laser or IPL can be serious. They may cause blistering, changes in pigmentation and, in severe cases, permanent scarring. As a trained laser/IPL technician, it is devastating to see this happening within our industry. Experiences like these leave clients feeling frightened and hesitant to trust other professionals.

Please take the time to choose a safe and reputable clinic:

• Ask about the training and certification
• Make sure you receive a thorough consultation and patch test
• Ask to see the same technician
• Choose a clinic that records your settings and monitors your response

Seeing the same experienced technician helps provide consistency. They get to know your skin, your hair-growth patterns and how you respond to each treatment.

Safe treatment is not about using the strongest settings or promising the fastest result. It is about selecting the correct settings for your individual skin and hair and adjusting them carefully throughout your course.
It is far better to need a couple of additional sessions and reach your goal safely than to risk a burn or permanent damage by rushing the process.

Your skin is with you for life.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A Wonderful New Addition to Albany! I recently visited the brand-new salon opened by Maria, and I am absolutely thrilled with the experience! If you knew Maria back from her days at her Torbay salon, you already know how talented she is—and her gorgeous new space makes the visit even better. Here is what makes this salon a true gem: * **High quality service and attention to detail which is second to none * **Warm & Welcoming - The staff are genuinely friendly, making the visit feel like catching up with old friends. * **Top-Tier Products - They use and sell an impressive array of high-end cosmetics that leave your skin healthy and feeling incredible. * **Great Value & Convenience - Despite the luxury feel, the prices are reasonable, and having **onsite parking** makes arriving stress-free. Maria has created a relaxing, top-quality sanctuary. I highly recommend this salon.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend! Great atmosphere, service, reasonable prices, I get anxious coming to these places but this salon in particular is very welcoming and friendly. Especially recommend Tayla for waxing, she is skilled and super lovely 🩷 bit further than it used to be for me but I’m so happy to make the slightly longer journey to remain at this clinic.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have visited Maria and La Bella Vita team over the past three years for both maintenance (brows, lashes, waxing) and pampering (facials). Their products are very high quality and carefully selected. I love Medik8 and Vagheggi ranges on my skin. The salon is very well kept, always squeaky clean, and very relaxing. The new location is especially beautiful. Maria is also a great source for advice on skincare, training and conferencing regularly on latest techniques and products. I always feel in very good hands. Thanks to the team for great ongoing service and care!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Maria and her team are wonderful. Her new space is incredible, calm and beautiful the moment you walk in. She always makes me feel so well taken care of, and my skin has never looked better since starting her facials and using the skincare she recommended. It’s brighter, clearer and my fine lines have softened. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
